I go to Tropic Isle in Framingham... The workers are very knowledgable and they don't try to sell you things that won't work or you don't need. The owner has his PHD in Icthiology (sp?) from Harvard. Scott

cool- tropic isle in Framingham still exists!!!
I used to go there in 1980, got my first seahorse there in 1982, hard to believe its still around.
The owner has a Ph.D. in icthiology, I guess thats what you do w/ a degree in fish, manage a pet store.

Same with me, I only go to Tropic Isle. They are the most Honest LFS that I have ever dealt with. Scott

The equipment prices at either store dont bother me (but for the record, Sea World is out of thier tree). I go to Tropic for the less than common fish selection. My cousin works for Oceanic, so he keeps me set up. He supplies for Sea World actually.
