First off if you are cycleing with damsels, trade them in at your lfs, they get real mean and nasty towards other fish. A couple of good fish that are somewhat hardy and look good are the royal grammas and the six line wrasses, and they don't get big and will do well in a small tank. Good Luck

i agree with the six line wrasse because if you want inverts enventually it will be ok with them, and they are very hardy and look real nice. also i would ocnsider a four spot wrasse they are cool and stay about 3 inches and again are very hardy and inexpensive just like the six line

i really like grammas. they are cool looking fish that can go good in that tank. six lines are cool too. clowns, gobies, blennies, and some others would do good in there too. bo

I have a 29g with 40 lbs of live rock. Fish are: Lemonpeel angel, 6 line wrasse, small maroon clownfish and Diamond sleeper goby. Plus shrimp and snails. The Lemonpeel was in the reef tank but it started picking at the corals  It's doing fine in the 29g with lots of Nori and Seaweed Selects to pick at.

In my 30 FOWLR I have the following:
3 Green Chromis
1 bicolor Blenny
10-15 Snail
15 Hermits(red leg's)
20 Blue leg hermits
2 peppermint shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp
1 Banded coral shrimp
2 serpents stars
1 Emerald crab
1 sally lightfoot crab
This is my first saltwater tank which has been up and running for about the last two months.
Anyone have any additional suggestions on some fish that would be compatible. I was thinking about adding a Banggai cardinal.
Thanks
:p
