I finally called the place I got my Aquapod from because I can't figure out my lights. (I should have 3 and I could only find 2) He said they were really tiny, the size of a pencil ereser. I found them, but they wouldn't work. My husband and I took the hood apart and looked all around for this cord that is sapose to plug into the back. When I showed him where it plugs into, he shakes his head, goes over by the washer and dryer and picks up a cord. It was the one to my lights!! I thought it was his so I put it with his chargeable flash lights!!I am an idiot!!
anyway, my lights work now
Thanks to everyone that tried to help me earlier! I finally figured it out! My tank is awesome and the water is clearing. (day 6 of cycle)

hahaha thats funny.... i tried to explain it the best i could. oh crude, i need to take a photo of it like i told you.... i will post one some time tonight. but i am glad you figured it out. just like a normal power supply that plugs into the back of the hood. i real like the glimmering effect that the 2 LED lights give off, not real bright but u can still see whats going on inside the tank at night

I like the look of the LED light. It is cool. Did you get your timers figured out? How long has yout tank been cycling? I saw a pic. of it on another thred. Looks just like mine. I got 10 lbs of rock and a tonga. I was going to get more, but alot of the coral and shrooms come on rocks so I figured I would hold off.

nope my timers are still messed up.... i was told by someone that the ballasts may be wired wrong.... yea i like my rockwork, but i have 23# of rock in a 12g..... lol.... this is my 2nd day of my cycle:
Nitrates 0ppm
Nitrites 5ppm
Ammonia .50 ppm
so i am on my way now.... getting ready to do a water change soon. i want to keep some of the life on the rocks alive if i can....

yea it probably will, but the chances are alot higher to keep some of the live stuff that came on the rocks if u do small water changes.... i know i already seen some polyps and what looks to be a tiny tiny favites coral.

when your like me and at the LFS as often as i am they set cool stuff aside for me, knowing i will be there in a day or 2, and if i dont want it, it goes in the tanks to be sold to someone else :)

yup, that's them. It helps when they're pluged in!!
I plan on leaving the LED on 24 hrs, then at 6:30am put on the daylight/fan, keep them on till about 5:30 pm, Then turn those off and just use LED till 6:30 pm I'll turn on the lunar lights. Keep those on till about 5:30am then at 6:30am use the daylights. I hope that will work.

When you say lunar lights, do you mean the blue flourescent light? If so, thats more than likely the actinic light, lunar lights typically refer to the LEDs. The actinic provides light in the blue spectrum, most folks like to turn it on before the daylight bulbs, and turn it off after, usually an hour before and an hour after, depending on the person.

here is my lighting schedule for my 46g bow and i will probably use the same for my nano
LED moonlights 24hrs/7 days
Actinics 8am - 6pm/7 days
10k's 9am - 5pm/7 days
i have them on a shorter cycle now, because it gets dark out earlier now, so i would like to keep it as close for the tank as it would be out in the ocean...
