hey guys im back and better than ever

we had a huge family emergency and now i can finally sit down and relax again. later when the lights are on i will post pics of the nano and our 54 corner.

i have a few questions too...if i wanted a mandarin in my nano is there anyway to have one? if so, post ....if i put a basket with chaeto in it wat is the least amount i would need to breed copeopods?

very unlikely.....they are so demanding and they will look ok for so long and then they die....it's because they starve....the chaeto isn't enough...you would have to feed the tank every couple of days.....it can be done....i had one in my 20g for 2yrs, but not recomended.....good luck

i feed my tank like everday anyways....my fish are pigs....how would i feed the mandarin....and are you sure there is no way at all to breed any copeopods in the chaeto??

copods will breed in chaeto. but the problem is that they will not breed fast enough for your manderin,therefor, leading to starvation. some people can get there manderin to eat frozen mysis or even worms. i however had no such luck and i starved mine in my 55g(still feel bad to this day). i wish that i had done more research before purschasing the fish. i would not recomend putting a manderin in the tank.
on a lighter note, what else do you have in your tank?

I wouldn't put a pygmy angel in a nano either, they should be in something larger than 30 gallon, especially if you have other fish in the tank. Angels can get aggressive in smaller tanks. Just my opinion, but most will likely agree.
