Looks good, If I were you I would take the feather duster and put him somewhere where his "feelers" are not in the sand. You can put the stock under the sand or in rock work. In rock work he will eventually attach and grab hold so pick wisely.

, Thats great about the light, they did wonders with the fans and ventilation. I am just about to add 2 18w PC's to my 150 HQI. give a nice actinic coloration and add a little more umph to it yah know! Nice tank, great job!

Your tank looks really nice but the chili corals are not very fond of the light and prefer a shaded area. Please pm me if you would like a link to another forum thread on chilis.

MattT, your tank look great. May I ask one question. What is the "pink tree" coral that you have on the last picture. The one in the sand and on the left. I have the same one, but do not know what it is. And how to care for it. Thank you.

The gorgonian should not have any tissue under the sand or even resting on it. It will kill the tissue and cause necrosis, which is a bacterial infection that can spread to the rest and kill it all if not clipped off. I did the same thing. Mount it on a rock and just have it barely above sandbed. Looks great though, sorry about the BTA
