I'm building Canopy

75 gallon tank going to go with 48" lights
figuring to make the hood 50" in length having about 3/4" of space on each side would that be too much space??

here is mine same size as your going to do 50" long with 3/4 inch on each side

does it move around when your doing something with the tank and what type of wood did you use

the top flips onto the back and its made of red oak ont the side and top front and back are birch same as the stand
