I'm not familiar with that software, but you'll need to A) reduce the size/dimension of the image, or B) reduce the image quality, or C) both A and B.

you could also edit (crop and cut) the picture and get rid of background stuff you don't need. This is what I do, so I don't have to lose quality. I use mspaint, but I'm guessing you should be able to crop and cut in any photo software.
