i'm going to get clowns.

i'm going to get some clowns and i've had a damsel in there for a week and a half and i'm not sure weather or not i should clean my tank out first befor i get them or what? any suggestions?

How long has your tank been cycled for? I would consider returning the damsel before getting the clowns.

yeah this weekendwill be 6 weeks. i was also planning on taking my damselback when i get the clowns. so do you think i should clean my tank befor i get the clowns? :thinking:

I would get a clean up crew. I have 9 turbo snails and 9 hermit crabs and they do a great job plus they're fun to watch.

I would get rid of the damsel too.....i was in the same boat as you and it ended up attacking and killing all my other fish!
