I'm having weird luck with clove polyps.

Whenever I get some, they grow like crazy for about 2 months. Then start dwindling away. Is there something I should be feeding them?

I changed the flow on my clove polyps from medium to strong and they closed up. After a week of finding that perfect flow they came back looking full again. Agree with nyc on medium flow.

they love lights and medium flow. mine grows like crazy just like the xenia.
^ mine also
I do shoot some mysis at them when spot feeding other corals and they do grab it, but its not a regular thing. Mine for what ever reason seem to do better when they are getting a good amount of flow, being whipped around but not thrashing.
They are actually starting to pop up all over my tank I hope it doesnt become epidemic. I just have the pink/brown 'long finger' type not the fancy green ones. not sure if they are harder to take care of
