i have a 55 gal saltwater i got a maroon clown,snowflake eel,3 starfish,royal gramma,yellow tail damsel,feather duster,sea cucumber,sea urchin, im thinking of a lion fish or yellow tang what do u think

Welcome to the board. You are really going to enjoy your tank. As for your question, a lionfish is not a good idea. He will eat all of your small fish. If I were you I would just get a tang. They're very pretty, hardy, and will not harm any of your other fish.

i had a yellow tang when i first started and he got ick i tried to give him a fresh dip and i wiped him out do u know any one that had success with a yellow tang i like the hippo tang to what do u think

do u think the hippo tang is more hardier than the yellow and i seen a pic. of a clown tang what do u think of them

welcome aboard, and i'd have to say neither, you will probably max out your system with what you have now
snowflake = 24 inch
maroon = 6 inch
yellow tail = 3 inch
royal gramma = 3 inch
that is 36 inches of fish in a 55 gallon tank, you need to figure the size of your fish at maturity, they will grow

Buy a 135 gal or so to put your lion in youll love it and your lion will be happy and wont eat all your fish
