Im NOT a PC laptop guy but I need to purchase one for somebody!

I need to bring a LAPTOP down to my brother in law in SOUTH AMERICA,
I have no clue about PC'S because Im a Mac Dude.
What is a good standard laptop, $ for $ worth while. Just Standard, Cheap, NO ONLINE GAMING or things like that.
Have you seen it or others similar to it ON SALE either through a Black Monday sale or Season sale? Like at Walmart, Staples Home Depot etc etc.. Where you said WOW thats a great price and SO WORTH IT..

go to frys or just get dell to build you one. That is probably as cheap as it is going to get that isn't going to be complete junk.

I have seen HP running some great deals and Sam's and Costco if you have a membership to either of them. Otherwise, get a Dell.
