But everything I have been taught is you have to see the SH be able to watch them for a while, looking for desease(sp), I would be so unhappy with getting unhealthy SH, I don't want the first expreance to be with death on delivery. How does any one know they are getting healthy SH? I don't know the sellers of online anymore then the next, I'm a meet and greet kinda person.
That is where the 15 day guarantee comes in. Believe me any critter can look perfectly healthy and the next day or even just getting home and it dies right in the bag. You are out the money and the critter.
SWF does not want to replace a critter. They don't make money that way. They want to send the healthiest critter so you are happy and they make money, and if it should (God forbid) not make it, you are not out the cash.
Not only are you guaranteed alive on arrival, but believe me in 24 hours you will know if the horses will eat. In 15 days you will certainly know if any horse has a problem.
We are dealing with live creatures and anyone can have a dead critter, you have to have a little faith in the breeder. Do your best to have the tank all set and you do your research on the type of critter you want. This is the very best way to make sure you have a good first experience with any SW critter..
P.S.
I order from SWF all the time...they are the best. I only go to another site if SWF does not carry the critter I want at all, I even wait until it's back in stock to try and get it from them.
I just purchased from another site, and lost a Yellow ruffled leather coral (normally a very hearty critter)...it never opened after shipping and turned black after two days..I paid $70.00 for it and now I am out $70.00.
