Well i bought a ricordea today and i want to superglue the rock it is attacked to to another rock. are all types of superglue safe to put in the tank??
 
all super glues no there are specific glues for the saltwater aquarium and u should be able to find it either in ur lfs(local fish store) or online and place the ricordian in a corner till it arrives

Any super glue that is cyanoacrylate will work fine. I use the Gel typ super glue as it is thicker and easier to work with.

Dry the rock it is on, put some glue on it, put it in the water on the rock you want to glue it to, twist it a couple of times and hold in place for a 1/2 minute or so.

He is correct. You can try to glue the rock underwater, which is pretty tricky. Or you can dry the rock it is on, add gel glue, and then quickly put it underwater and hold it where you want it, as Spanko advised. I haven't read about any problems or chemical side effects the glue has on the tank. I have found that I like the Loctite brand gel more than others. Hope this helps.
