In need of a good pump for my skimmer

Can anyone on here help me to find a good pump for my skimmer. I really do not know much about the skimmer. I believe it is a cpr brand skimmer but i can not be sure. I know that the pump that just went bad was a rio 1700. I need to replace it but I need to make sure that I get one that I can control the air flow in with the "breather hose". Sorry I do not know much more than that. My tank is 120 gallon and the skimmer and pump are in the sump. PLEASE, any help you can give me will help greatly.. Thanks

rio pumps are great, do you not want to go back with that brand? if you get one with a flow control valve(may have to go up a bit on the gph) then you can adjust it. also ehiem makes one that size that has flow control or you can purchase a flow control and place on the pump
