In this size tank??

Is there any sort of eel that I can keep in a 30 gallon tank? It would be the only inhabitant and I would be able to progress tank size with growth fairly easily. Any suggestions??

A snowflake eel is suggested by my reference book to need a home of 30 gallon or larger. I f you doing just a eel and want one that adapts well and is a good eater I would go with the snowflake but try to get a smaller one as it will grow in time to 24 to 30 inches. It will need some rockwork to live under that makes them very happy. I have 2 and they are a great addition to any tank that is set up right for them.
