Indentifying this fish??

Hey there, I have just been given a 622ltr (164 gallon) 6ft reef tank and I have a fish I can't identify - I am sure that google is sick of me by now! LOL
Anyway, the tank has been badly neglected for 18months and all coral have died, other surviving fish are 2 clown fish, 1 fox face, 2 chromis, 2 banded coral shrimp, 1 blue starfish (although he is damaged and we are currently trying to fix a nitrate problem, not sure if he will get further damaged?), a lovely urchin and the unidentified swimmer....
He is yellow on the nose and turns into a paler kind of pink at the back and has a black dot on his fin. I will try and upload a photo but it was hard to get him to stay still! Any help with his species would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sheridan.

Is it really? I can't seem to find another that looks like it, the fins seem more elongated on the damsel, although he is probably just very unhealthy and might of lost them. LOL, 3 months of red algae I guess it's lucky to still be breathing!
Anyone have any other ideas on lowering nitrate other than water changes? I'd have to swap out pretty much all of it to fix the damage, it looks around 250ppm.... doing 10% daily at the moment after LFS instructions. Should it be more?
Have alot of experience with fresh water tropical, total newby at salt...
