Info on foxface

I got a foxface to possibly help with the hair algae problem (I have another post on reef section) and I never see this guy.
is this the way they are? Hide all the time?

Mine was real skittish at first. Now he swims around with the others and eats nori out of my hand. Let him get used to you.

Same, very shy for first few days, but since then, very responsive when I come up to the tank, during feeding, and swims with all the fish. He is very nice to newcomers to tank as well, I think of him as the "welcome wagon". Good Looking fish.

OK, I'll let him settle in. I found him sleeping in the gorgorian the other morning pretty cute.

I like mine but he/she looks like crap with the lites out. For being a venomous fish he sure is friendly.

I love our foxface, but it took him at least a week or more to settle into the tank and not hide most of the time. Now he schools with my yellow tang!

Same as others as far as acclimation. Don't count on him to eat much hair algea. It seems few if any of the herbevours actually "like" hair algea.
