Injury or disease?

My damsel seems to have some abnormality just by the left side gil, is this just some injury/damage or a disease? Sorry i couldn't get a better picture... Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I really cannot see much. Can you describe it? Does it look like the scales are missing? Do you have other fish? If so, what kind? Is the fish eating and acting normally?
