Installing my lighting on canopy

should my Reflector be big enough to put the VHO's onto also. so i have my MH and VHO's on the same reflector? or VHO's shouldnt be on the reflector? let me kno?

Yes, you want all of your lights to be on reflective material. If not, 50% of your lights will get absorbed into your canopy.

It would be best if it were, but sometimes it nost possible with parabolic reflectors of MH. So if you
"need" the light then it would be best to try to fit it on the relector. But for my tank, the MH is more than enough light, so my PCs are just for actinic color. And my reflector does block some of my PCs, but not a bg deal. I rather have the PCs blocked than having the PCs block some of the light from the MH.

If you get the VHO bulbs with internal reflectors (like URI, now called UV lighting company) you don't need to worry about it at all. Just paint the inside of your canopy white to reflect the little light that tries to escape. :D
