I am getting ready to hook up my new 5 stage ro unit but i also have a water softner at my home. Should i bypass this or use the water that went through the water softner..
I use my RO/DI after the softener. It should not matter as the overall effect on you DI will be the same. The softener will replace positive ions with sodium ions which your DI will remove.
