Instant Ocean and Phosphates?

Hi, I have read a lot of postings about phosphates in IO water - is this true and what brand do you recommend that I buy instead? I am at the end of my bag and need to buy more.

I have never here anything about phosphates in IO. I have use IO for the last 5 years.
It works very well for me..

I agree, IO has NEVER had any phosphate issues for me or anyone I know of that uses it.

I can tell you definately that there is NO phosphates in IO water. I just mixed up 26 gallons over the weekend for a water change. And i specifically checked it for phosphates, since im having high phosphate problems, and there was not one trace of phosphates in that water ..

I have not heard many complants about IO but have heard several people say reef crystals salt mix contains phosphate.
Reef crystals and IO are made by the same company.

Thanks for the input - I feel much better now. I just did a large water change with IO but I hadn't gotten my test kit yet and became concerned when I read the posts.
