and have questions after researching it on here.
1. I have a 125 gallon fish, live rock, and minimal corals. I currently have a sump underneath with a wet/dry with bioballs. My sump has a pump and a protein skimmer in it.
2. Can I turn this sump into a refugium and would I have to remove all the bioballs?
3. If so, I presume, I would add sand and LR to the sump bottom and have to add some sort of lighting, suggestions on light would be appreciated.
4. Alternatively, can you add a small aquarium to the side of my main one and run tubing and pumps to exchange water? I guess the benefit of this would be that I could have another tank in a way with rock and sand in it, maybe plants?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! :help:
