Interesting Firefish

So as I am siting here going thru the list of fish/corals to order, I see this fish Helfrich firefish on the order form. I wasnt familiar with the name so I googled it. Interesting fish and very pricey for such a small thing. Nearly 400 for such a specimen. I know I wont be ordering that one as it is picky about temperature and others in the tank. Too bad, I would have ordered one for myself. Oh well, some things are just not meant to have......at least not yet.

Wow - $400 for a helfrichi!?! That is ludicrous. I was just in a local store around here and they had one for $130 and it looked awesome. They said they have had it for 3 weeks now.
Supposedly, that is the price they mark them at - I talked to one of the employees. They get them in frequently and have never had one marked at anything more than $140. I was surprised because I knew they usually sold online for $250-$300. But nearly $400 is insane.

yeah well, my mark up would be slightly over your your local store and no where near the 400 bucks. Chances are they will not sell it and the price will have to come down.

Yea, they are nice but pricey, I have seen them here for $150 recently.

yea 400 is insane, i see them online for around 150. i even bought one for that almost two yrs ago for that ...

Wow, thats crazy ! He is good looking, but for that price, I will stick with my 10 dollar purple one.

That sure is a nice looking firefish, though the price seems high whether it's $150 or $400.
