Interesting observation

At least I thought it was kind of interesting. Earlier this evening I decided to kalk a couple aptasia. One aptasia was huge. I nuked him with a big glob of kalk paste, he did the shrivel up thing. Because he was so big I decided the let the kalk stay on him until morning. Well after lights out, I went to check on the tank with a flashlight and there was about 10 small bristle worms with there heads right in the Kalk glob, apparently eating on the remains of the aptasia. I think that takes scavenging to a new level. I am surprized that the bristle worms weren't affected by the kalk. At least they didn't seem to be affected.

Did you mean to say you were suprised that the bristle worms weren't affected? Interesting, it sounds like another plus for keeping the ugly little buggers around.

I had to re read that twice LOL. It's most likely what was meant, and I believe that is the first time I seen anyone say that. See, these critters aren't so bad (bristle worms). Glad all went well.
