Intermittent flow

Several of the corals that I'm reading about seem to prefer "a medium intermittent flow". (Duncans for example) Is this an absolute requirement or would 2 powerheads with a steady flow work?

Do you have a spot where the current swirls? That would be a good spot.
Yes, you should be fine as long as the PH isn't blasting them. If they don't look good where you have them, move em.

Thanks sickboy, I was thinking along that line. Nothing direct and pounding on them...........Went to LFS today he figures two Koralia 4 for my 90g corner, I guess if I need to changes directions I'll be able to with those. I was thinking about possibly a Korlia 2 near the bottom to get some flow through caves and such. Overkill????

IMO go with another 4. I have 2 K4s and a K2 now in a 90 bow. I still have some low flow areas. I am looking at adding a Seio 1500.
