I have a yellow tang, six line wrasse and a royal gramma in my 72 now. I want to add a pair of maroon clowns, a raccoon butterfly, a flame angel and a hippo tang.
Since the yellow may beat the daylights out of the newcomers should I put him in the Q tank? If yes, for how long?

if you have a place to move the yellow tang to i would say yes, if you reintroduce him later he will be much more calm, or you can rearrange your rock work which may work, yellow tangs can be bullish (just like me with the market), and should be introduced last

I agree.... yes you are doing the right thing but i would add the fish slowly ....... not all at once.
