Hi my name is Kevin
Mendon IL.
I have an 80 gallon glass bow front with which I'm efforting a reef tank.
I converted it from fresh to salt 6 months ago.
It has a sand bottom, about 150 lbs of live rock and one blue velvet Damsel we call Dave
I run a cascade 1200, an inline UV, a pc lighting fixture, and a couple of small eheim powerheads
I've spent the past 6 months feeding my one fish and cleaning algae off the glass.
My diligence to move slowly is a result of being scared to make mistakes as much as to make sure to cycle it the best I can.
I'm fortunate to have recently hired a "fish guy" that has about 10 accounts in my area helping me with my set up.
My guy says that all my numbers are great and I will have a "clean-up crew" coming this weekend.
I'm glad to be onboard and I'm looking forward to learning from you all.
