Introducing a Dwarf Fuzzy Lion..

Hiya..
I have a 3ft tank which has a snowflake moray in, abouy 7 inches long. Around christmas/new year time he will be moved to a 4ft tank..
his only tankmate, both in the 3ft and 4ft tank, will be a dwarf fuzzy lion...
I currently have around 7lb of LR in the tank, and am wanting to add more...i was wondering, can i add any LR at the same time as i add the dwarf lion? Or would it be too much for the system to cope with?
Also, what are the chances of the lions´ spikes peircing the bag on the way home? As i will be using public transport thats the last thing i want happening...
Also, when i introduce the lion, what is the normal thing for it to start doing? ive heard of them swimming upside down, hiding for long periods of time etc....
Any advice would be great..
Thanks,
James:)

James, How much live rock are you adding at the time you want to add the Lion fish? If you are adding ten pounds or less at the time it should be O.K. Some people post that the Dwarf Fuzzies are not as hardy as other lions, but I would dissaggree. Mine has lived through just about every thing a person could put a fish through. I have screwed up the temp, salinity, not feed him for two weeks while on a vacation, and he's still kicking!
As far as transporting him I would not chance him poking a hole in the bag. When I bought mine; I also bought one of those cheap little plastic critter cages, like for turtles, and carried him in it.
When you acclimate him as well as after he will hide and yes swim upside down. Mine also seems to like to hide in the caulerpa macro-algae. So expect just about anything form him.
Hope this will help you some!
Eric;)

Thanks for your reply.
I will be adding around 6lb of LR..
Thats a great idea about the carry-pet thing...would never of thought of it!
I was too thinking of getting some macro algae at the same time...
Thanks again,
James:)
