Introducing new lighting

I currently run a 110w pc only on my 75. The bulbs are older and i understand that over time they lose their intensity. I bought a new fixtrue 4x65 pc that I intent to use in addition to the 110w pc. My question is, when I introduce the new 4x65, should I run them for 12 hours the first day, or should I slowly increase their time on over a few days/weeks (4hrs, 6 hrs, 8hrs, etc). I have 4 green mushrooms and a handful of small fish in the tank (see signature).
Also, should I expect a major algae bloom when the new lights are introduced?

The increase in lighting could affect your mushrooms and algae. You can sometimes get a diatom bloom when increasing/changing lighting. I'd start out with the 4 hours a day for several days to a week the 6 then 8. Won't hurt and might help.
