I am wanting to order one of these books and would appreciate any opinions about these two books listed. Looking for which one offeres the best info for the "average hobbyist". Some books list alot of things we cannot get or have in our home aquariums, not looking for a book like this. The first one is 192 pages the second one is 448 pages.
The 101 Best Marine Inverts by Scott W. Michaels
Marine Inverts: 500+ Essential To Know Aquarium Species by Ronald L Ph D Shimek

Marine Inverts: 500+ Essential To Know Aquarium Species by Ronald L Ph D Shimek I have this book and use it all the time I will buy again when it falls apart. When I see a new coral I look in this book and 9 times out of ten it is in there.

Good to know, but does it have alot about inverts in general?? I already have the coral book by borneo that i just love and was looking for something specifically for inverts (crabs, shrimps, snails etc)

Reef Invertebrates: An Essential Guide to Selection, Care and Compatibility by Fenner and Calfo is also an excellent book. I need to replace mine because I've read it so much the pages have fallen out O.O
I also have Shimek's. A+
Shimek's = quick peak.
Fenner/Calfo = more indepth but still at beginner's level.
