Well my tank of 75 gallons has recovered from my starfish incedent (basically the starfish somehow broke my filter cover and got sucked up into the filter, and of course died...so therefore i didnt know this at the time, and the toxics, well killed my fishies ) but is now in top shape, everything is good even the ph/nitrate/phosphate and ETC...um the incedent basically wiped out all of my tank, so the only survivers are the Percula Clown, and a flame angel ( in which i placed both in the 40gallon until i took action )...since then i have redone my whole filteration and lighting, and have obtained a flower anemoe and about 110lbs of LR..and suprisingly my tank is going good with out any inverts(which i will totally need)...so im just wanting to know what should be good for the hair algae(just started coming up) and the waste/leftover food, and of course some reef safe fish i should look for.
Fish : Percula Clown / Flame Angel
Inverts : Flower Anenome

for the hair algea some people say lawnmower blennies some say emerald crabs but neither is 100% garuanteed to eat it. Hair algea is a sign of excess nutriants though which means something is funky with you water and one of you levels is off. As for inverts my favorites are just plain snails as they are harmless, hardworking and with a few different species everything can be cleaned up. Also hermit crabs do a great job of scavenging.
