Inverts

What is classified as an invert? Right now I have a coral banded shrimp, a decorator crab, and 3 hermits. Would any of these be considered inverts, and if so which ones? Thanks.

Yes, all the animals you listed are invertebrates. Animals classified as invertebrates are those which do not have a backbone or vertebral column. Invertebrates are not just the exoskeleton animals..take the squid for example.

Very funny fshhub,
Although I still don't see the connection with the timing, or whatever LOL ...
When I read Marine Fanatic's reply "Animals classified as invertebrates are those which do not have a backbone or vertebral column." I immediately thought of my new boss at work.
He's a real "stand up guy" NOT !!
Sorry for getting off topic - was late and I was getting a little punchy :p
Later :D

i was referring to the fact that you just became a shark here recently, that was what i meant by timing, and i figured either you were kidding or were not referring to sammy, that's all

Gotcha fshhub !!!!
That is funny :D
I'd say that admin is my boss here - and the other sharks can certainly suggest to admin to "pull the plug' on me and hand me my walk'n papers if they see fit <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
Yeah I was just a little loopy last night, it popped into my head for some reason ... was just kidding ;)
See ya !
