I am ending up selling my 110 show tank. I tried cleaning the last bit of sand out of the bottom and it just killed me. So i dont like the dimensions of it for maintenance. Although it can be a really pretty tank when set up, the maintenance is killer. So, i am purchasing a 55g tank for $35 this weekend. Next weekend i will buy a glass hole cutter. Hopefully i will have the new tank on my stand by the middle of summer.

Im unemployed at the end of june or at most mid-july. My wife has several interviews set up for teaching positions starting the first of august. Im sure she will land a job, as hard as she has worked.
I can find work. Odd jobs, handyman work, cleaning pools and aquariums, in fact I am getting a job soon with a local plumber. Just because i might not have work for a little while doesnt mean that i cant still have a salt tank. I have a bunch of used equipment layin around like lights and bulkheads and pumps. So,.... Yeah.

Oh, just thought with the new baby and all, and as expensive as saltwater aquariums tend to be you might not be doing anything new at this point.

Thanks buddy! I like it too.
It started growing quickly when i realized that my ca was persistanly below 380 and my alk was 7dKH or less. I started adding a two part every day and now its starting to explode.
Too bad to, cause this tank will be taken down in a few more months.
