Is 500 watts of MH light enough for seabe anemonie on 90g

i have a 90g with 500 watts of MH. my water is perfect!!! tank has been up for about 6 months. also i will be moving in 4-6 months and will it move ok?

500 watts is perfectly fine, i run 500 on my 80 and i havent had any problems with anemones- i dont know what to tell you about the move, i moved recently, gave everything in my tank away except for LR (that stuff aint cheep)

You're fine. Ideally you want about 5-7 watts per gallon of water. This is just a guideline because there are exceptions. For example, deeper tanks around 24" require a greater intensity of light simply because it has to travel deeper. So as long as your tank isn't 24" or deeper, your lights are great

Personally I would wait on adding any livestock if you know you will be moving that soon. There is always a chance you will recycle the tank when you move it, and it is also easier to have as few animals as possible with a move coming up. I would wait....

i totally agree i was just wondering. if they were so hardy my clowns would love one (they try to host everything) i would have got one but i will not be getting one now then.
