Is a 12" canopy high enough for dual400 watt halides?

Like the topic says, think it would do it? The lights themselves would probably be 9" or so from the tank....

thanks for the reply broomer..im thinking 12" should be fine, just wanted at least one reponse for reassurance...yours will do! OFF TO THE HARDWARE STORE! :)
