Right now I have 75G fish only with a 3"live sand and CC bed. I want to make a purchase of some live rock now. The tank is set up with 2 150W heaters, 2 270GPH powerheads and 2 emporer 400's taking care of the filtration right now so as far as a hang on model skimmer goes i'd either lose an existing filter or get a stand alone skimmer. As far as the bio load goes, so far I have 2 snails, 2 crabs, 3 stars, 1 peppermint shrimp, 1 eibli angel, 1 yellow watchman goby, 1 strawberry dottyback and 1 tomato clown. So my question is do I need to purchase a skimmer, and if so what is the best for the least amount of $. Thanks.
