there are some who have had success with them, but arrows definitley can and often do(but not always) eat shrimp, worms, crabs, and smaller fishes, jsut about anythint they can get their claws on, they will, they are so cool, you just have to use caution wth them, b/c they sometimes do and sometimes don't pose a problem
simply put, they can and often do, so just watch him

I got an arrow and had it probably around 10 days. It poked and prodded at everything in my tank. It was responsible for the deaths of my blue starfish, cucumber and a flame scallop. It wouldn't leave them alone.
I then put it in my QT tank until I could get rid of it. It caused the black and white stripe damsels I had in there to turn white from stress. Couldn't keep his paws to himself. Have heard most of them are that way though. Hope you got lucky. Too bad though, they're really cool looking critters.

They are really cool looking, but, too many times at the LFS I have seen them caatch and eat the fish in the tanks. I decided a while ago I would keep mine at the LFS and visit from time to time without the expense of him and all he would dine on.
