i mean, i imagine that it must be. im sitting here enjoying a delicious tuna sandwich though, and i was wondering, why is it we can eat raw fish, but raw meat is a big no no? i mean... fish have parasites and stuff in them too... eh?
the canning process is a cooking process - so anything you buy in a can has been, essentially, cooked, but if you read the can it usually says on there that the tuna has been steamed before it was canned as well.
no theyre not.
and ok, forget the tuna. say tonight i jump im my car and drive over to the golden dragon for a delicious sushi dinner.
why can we eat raw fish and not raw meat?

we can eat both... it is just not wise to beause of bacteria and other stuff that needs to be cooked out of the meat...

yeah, but youre not supposed to. you can eat broken glass if you want to. doesnt mean its good for you.
raw meat will still provide you with nourishment and not be instantly fatal like glass...
ok. say i eat a chunk of raw pork. ill probably get a tapeworm or salmonella or e. coli or something equally lovely. i go eat a bunch of sushi, ill probably be perfectly fine.
