is dead color corals bad ?

i saw a few yellow and red bright color dead corals .... i was wondering if the color fades or can it poison my fishes because of the salt eat up the coloring ? thank you ......

There are alot of different colors of real coral (real coral, not live--you know dead but still real). I can't say I have seen much yellow, but red and blue are very popular along with the hundred different types of white at my lfs and are intended for your tank. They can also help boost ph just as cc does.
I hope this is the kind of coral you're talking about.
Great addition to the fo tank, but needs to be cleaned.

I have a buddy with a "dead reef tank" haha.. he use to spend alot of money on corals with no care if they died or not.. but he kept all the old skeletons.. He setup a 55gallon FO tank and has it full of dead corals.. kinda grave yard.. IT actually looks as good as his reeftank.. *LOL.. and he doesnt have to worry about non reefsafe fish.. ]=) ~DANiel

hey dAluminum do you ever go to that fish store in or near cedar park... i forget the name of it but he has theat really big ghost knife and red tail cat... I used to live in copperas cove... was station at ft.hood
