Is distilled water same as RO/DI water

i get distilled from the store near me is it just as good or should i buy one of those units?

RO/DI and Distilling are two different processes. I used distilled for a while but it is not as good as RO/DI water and can have contaimnents.

HUGE difference. Distilled water is the product of evaporation and condensation. Thyis does not take much out of the water. Also, I've had phosphate problems using distilled back in the day. An ro/di will make your water over 99.9% pure.
