i have a tiger cowrie and about a ago i found him lying on his(?) side and not moving...he stayed like this for about 2 days and i thought he was dead so i trying to push him out of the rockwork so he wouldn't mess up my tank...after moving him around a little i saw him start to move so i left him alone and for the next couple days he seemed to be fine...now for the last couple days he has been back in the sam spot and is not moving...how do i know if he really is dead? and if he isn't why does he keep doing this???
i have had him for about 4-5 months with no problems...
i got him to take care of some algea but he never really made a dent in it...he is very cool looking though and would really like to save him if possible...
any ideas??

Snails are reported to be very sensitive to changes in salinity. I can tell when my SG is right on by how active my snails are. When it starts to get a little low, they get very sluggish. Just my observation.

my salinity did get a little high but after i corrected it he started moving around more and the salinity has remained fairly constant sense...could this be the after affects of high salinity a few weeks ago???
either way i don't think he is gonna make it through it unless i see a major chance soon...
thanks for the help
