Is it a good idea to add a niger trigger before tangs?
I saw a beautiful niger trigger and right now I can't seem to find the tangs I want. I want to maybe get the niger, then add the tang later.
LMK with your experiences.

I would add the trigger last with tangs.

I agree with ccampbell. These fish can be pretty aggressive. The only thing that I could suggest that I've had success with in the past, if you really want the trigger now, is to put him in, and when you're ready to add the tangs, isolate him in the sump or QT for a few days while the tangs adjust.
