Is it bad to change your tank around?

Just wondering cause I did tonight. I don't like to mess with it but it had to be done. :notsure:

The only time it would be bad is if you spiked your levels. Like stated, it's always good to do a water change afterwards.

i recently had to move alot of rock work and it seems to have stressed my pulsing xenia to all ends. still have 0's in ammonia nitrites and nitrates and only stress done is to the xenia it seems.

I had to move the rock that my royal gramma sleeps in yesterday. I put it back as close as I could, but she was freaked the rest of the day, enough that she was swimming around the top just before total lights out, and when i opened the lid to grab a left over piece of floating krill, he jumped out of the tank. I think she was mad at me.

Never hurts! When you move stuff around, there is the possibility of releasing trapped nitrates and some decay. It may or may not mess with your paramters but it's best to be on the safe side and test them.
