Is it dead?

I bought a long tenicule anemone, seaba. And I think that its dead, how can I tell? I moved it but its just sitting there. Please help! thanks

Well we moved it, cause it didnt attach itself to anything yet. Than about an hour later its tenicules were smaller. It wouldnt eat anything, I tried feeding it many times. we have I think 65 wat lights?? something like that.

It looks like its melting. And when we touch it it doesnt move. I think that the lights a vho, a blue and white light

Nah, mine didnt look like that. It was wilting. And is a different color. I bought it from *****, that was a mistake i think.

65 watts on a 72 gallon wont keep an anemone alive. Anemones are very hard to keep even for the experienced hobbiest. Read up about them, and please dont get another until you have the correct lighting.
