is it possible to get corraline alage in a agressive tank

i have 70 pounds of lr in my tank but i cant get corraline to grow any suggestions

i think corraline grows in evry tank, just kinda hard to grow.

Sure you can, it just needs enough light and enough calcium.

I actually think it's a little bit easier to get Coraline to grow in a "non-reef" environment.
Coraline grows really well in lower lighting......doesn't it?
Get yourself a rock with some decent Coraline growth on it.......point a powerhead at it. Try to get your Calcium and Alkalinity in the right range and have as much flow as possible. Poof..........Coraline.
Another way to promote faster growth is to actually use a file to chip small bits of Coraline off of rocks........you chip them off and they settle on other rocks and start to grow.

Also have low to no phosphates as I've heard phosphates slow the growth of coraline.
