okay i posted a thread earlier that asked if i could switch pumps for a 24 gallon nano cube and i went out today and the guy gave me a aqua clear powerhead with 400 gpm which i upgraded from a 290 gpm do you think this was a good choice or should i take it back. It seems to be working alright but i just wanted to know if there was such a thing as TOO much flow and if it could hurt my tank..

when i first started my tank i had a really big mushroom but now he is all small and never opens the way he did. i wonder if it has to do with not enough flow.

yes it is possible to have too much flow, if the fish cant swim and theres a sandstorm in the tank then you have too much flow

so as long as my fish arent being shoved against the walls or the sand bed is being distrubed to the point that its a sand storm then im alright?
