Is it possible?

Okay, I don't think it can happen, however, it sure seems like my Pinktail and Undulated are smitten with one another. They don't mate with unlike species do they?
They cozy up to one another. No triggers up, no changing colors, not aggressive movements.
Anyone know?

No they don't mate with unlike speices...
Eels tend to do what you are explaining as long as one of the eels is not overly aggressive.

I didn't think so. It is the funniest thing. They are not showing any signs of aggression when this occurs.
The Pinktail turns pale when he is irritated and the Undulated pales and gets her black streak by her eyes. But neither show any of these things when they are ....cuddling?
Anyone else?

I wonder which would have the dominant features?
The "Pink" tail would clash terribly with the greenish and orange on the Undulated. Or would it have a black body with orange stripes and a "Pink" tail?
I wonder what the babies would look like....fun to ponder :notsure: .....Peace....... Cindy
