for ich to go away on its own? if left alone do the fish just die? just curious.

ich won't just go away. if you fish get it and you do nothing to help them they will probably die. the only way to get the ich out of your tank is to leave it fishless for like 8 weeks. the ich doesn't have a host and dies off. if your fish have ich now you need to do hypo.

AND FULL OF FISH...WHERE DO YOU QT THEM...?
GREAT IDEA TO QT FISH HOWEVER NOTHING IS FULL PROOF
AND THEY CAN STILL CONTRACT ICK OR OODINIUM ETC...
BUT EVEN THOUGH, ITS STILL ADVISEABLE TO QT FISH....

that was kind of my point. if you put in a fish that was qt, then it comes up with ich from stress, do you have to take all the fish out and treat them because the main tank has it? if thats the case, you would have to leave the main tank empty for 8 weeks from what i read.
