Is it safe to add Nature's Ocean Live Sand?

Hello all, I was wondering if it was safe for me to add my 3 20 lb bags of Live Sand into my 65 gallon tank. The salinity is at 1.018, Temp - 79 degrees, PH - 8.2. The tank has been running for about 4 days and after I add the live sand I plan to buy some NEW salt to raise it up to about 1.023. There is still some salt on the bottom of the tank that will not dissolve even though I added a powerhead...is it safe for sand just to go over it?
Thanks!

Nope, the tank is completely bare. The only thing is that there are patches of salt that will NOT dissolve even though I added a powerhead...i was just wondering if it was safe for sand to go over it.

If it were me,,I would probably try to syphon out that excess salt before I added the sand...It may harm the bacteria living in that expensive sand....

I think you should stir the salt up that's on the bottom and get it dissolved, then bring your saliinity up to normal levels, then add the sand.

Well, I went to the store today and bought a new bag of Instant Ocean, I siphoned out all the the salt that did not dissolve on the bottom, along with it, I took out about 15-20 gallons of water. I replaced the water and put in some of the Instant Ocean, already the IO on the bottom was visibly dissolved in like 30 minutes. I'm probably gonna wait till 2m to add the nature's ocean live sand. My salinity right now is about 1.020.

Makofury to make it dissolve even faster grab the powerhead with your hand and suck up any salt laying on the bottom with the powerhead intake. Once your tank has reached the desired salinity level do make sure to mix any future saltwater in a bucket with a powerhead and a heater for 24hrs before you add it to the tank.
