is it safe to paint stuff in my room with the tank..

not spraypaint, i know that its a no no.. but is it ok to paint things with a brush in the same room as the tank(bedroom in my case), am i being overworried? or could the fumes cause problems?

nope.. thats what im painting lol. the canopy. theres no room in the garage and its been raining so everywhere else is wet.
so i figued id could at least get the inside painted in my room.. i do have my fan on high all the time, and my door open. i figued it would be ok, just wanted some more opnions before i started

it will be perfectly fine....i moved here recently (8 months) and my tank was set up with some sps and stuff and i painted my whole room (well the paint ppl did...i painted one wall)....just make sure no paint gets in the tank !!!!!!!!!!! lol i think ya new that though :)

Nice and sunny all week/weekend on the east coast. Should be fine I just painted my hole living room. I just put a tarp over the tank when I painted close to it everything is fine.

as a professional painter, you will be fine with painting things in your room as long as its not above your tank and has a chance to drip into it. like you said if you use a brush you will be fine with painting it. if you are still concerned you could put a tarp or even a DRY towel over the top of your tank as extra safety measures.
